Bridget and the bus are headed to… SAN DIEGO!

September 28, 2019

Guess what, guys?! We are sending Bridget and the bus to San Diego for Winter!

We just wrapped up an awesome Year 1 with the bus and I am thrilled to report that it was just as impactful as we had hoped – if not more so. We were able to personally engage with approximately 20,000 people and share our mission. Pretty dang awesome.

It’s proven to be a very effective tool to strip the weight from this issue and help people interact with us an share. And Bridget is the perfect person for the job. 🙂

As you might imagine, though, the cold, damp, and snowy months in Boise aren’t exactly ideal for Bridget to set up shop and stand for hours on end outside local businesses. As it turns out, people aren’t overly interested in chatting in the pouring rain and 6 inches of snow. Beyond this, we’ve been around for almost 7 years now, so it is time that we have a more physical presence in another city.

So, San Diego, it is!

We have a handful of partners and donors in San Diego, which will help grease the wheels and get Bridget off to a great start.

We’ll be putting the bus on a trailer to be shipped down in the middle of October, and Bridget will be there through next Spring!

And if you’re based in San Diego, it’s now your chance to meet Bridget and see the bus in real life.

We also have some exciting things in the works to help bridge the gap for those who are looking to move forward with their lives beyond through counseling. A little more on the self-help side of things. It’s going to be a really big additional value to help people, and we’re excited about it. 🙂 Stay tuned!

For now, we could use your help getting Bridget and the bus down to San Diego. So, if you’ve ever considered donating, now’s a perfect time! We’ll also be selling some new t-shirts very soon to help fund the move.

P.S. – We are still headquartered in Boise, and that won’t be changing. So, I (Matt) am not going anywhere! In fact, I may or may not be slightly jealous of Bridget.
