With every campaign, every donation, every conversation sparked – Speak Your Silence designates 100% of publicly raised funds to provide free counseling for individuals who have been affected by sexual abuse.

Down the road, we will hit a point when we can simply open the doors for anyone to apply for a grant.
Until we reach that milestone, we hand-select grantees who meet all previously mentioned requirements.
This not only ensures that those who need a spark in conversation get it,
but also ensure that we do not turn away those who come asking for it.

Speak Your Silence offers a counseling-based grant program that offers selected and placed counseling services to those who have been affected by child sexual abuse. Each grant recipient will receive 10, one-hour, counseling sessions along with a Speak Your Silence journal, so that every moment, every thought, every memory has the opportunity to be transferred into words and spark conversation.
Because we understand the power of conversation; we want to help provide an opportunity for individuals to begin to unpack the heavy weight of child sexual abuse, to begin to talk it out.
Through counseling, individuals will be given the opportunity to begin to work through the weighty topic of sexual abuse. Each session will help to spark a new understanding and to lighten the weight of carrying around the secret of sexual abuse.
The program is available anywhere in the U.S. Recipients will be placed with a counselor that is close by, to help make the process even easier.
Anyone who has been affected by sexual abuse: a victim or someone that has been directly impacted by sexual abuse.
How does the program break down? Simple. Each applicant who is selected and placed is provided with 10 weeks of free one-on-one counseling sessions, as well as a Speak Your Silence journal for keeping a personal record of the life-changing journey, equating to $65 a session. Essentially, each person is provided with a $650 grant-like counseling program. Why? Because this is where the conversation and healing begin.
We have partnered with Business Psychology Associates, which has a national network of professional counselors. That means that our counseling grantees can receive services no matter their location within the United States.
