Matt graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with a B.S. in Consumer and Family Science. He narrowly avoided academic probation his freshman year. He also spent two terms studying in London and Dublin. He especially loved London and took great delight in butchering the word “cheers” with his Idaho dialect. Upon graduation, Matt jumped head first into real estate investing. Shortly thereafter, the market went into the toilet, soon followed by Matt’s feeling of self-worth. In 2009, after hitting his breaking point, Matt sought counseling for the first time, to begin to work through his experiences of being molested by a family friend at age 6. In short, counseling changed Matt’s life. He discovered his passion, and decided to turn his negative experience into a valuable, life-giving asset. In January 2010, Matt founded Speak Your Silence. Matt loves spending too much time in coffee shops, driving over the speed limit, and his awesome cat named Dennis.
President ~ Strategic Communicator
As an award winning journalist Randy spent over a decade telling stories to television and newspaper audiences in Colorado, New Mexico, and Idaho. Wanting to spend more time with his family, he now reads stories to his twin sons and knows the power a conversation can have to make a positive change in a person’s life.
He’s kind of a “medium deal” on the golf course, enjoys chasing fish with a fly line, and has a master’s degree in parallel parking.

Sarah works at Business Psychology Associates in Boise, Idaho and is the President of the BPA. Sarah has been helping people access assistance for personal and professional challenges for more than 15 years. She believes that the hardest conversations to have are usually the most important ones. She joined Speak Your Silence in hopes that, through our work, more people will find their voice – both those who want to yell from a mountain top and those who want to whisper into a trustworthy ear.
Sarah gets great joy from her family – especially her two boys whom she honestly wouldn’t mind freezing at the perfect ages of 8 and 10. She and her husband love to travel the world, and think Boise is a fabulous place to live.
